A newer construction home in Hoover's Greystone neighbourhood had large west-facing windows in the main living area and kitchen. The homeowners were experiencing intense afternoon heat and glare that made the kitchen uncomfortable to work in and the living room unusable for television viewing from early afternoon. The home's brick exterior meant the homeowners wanted a film with a warmer tone that would complement the architecture.
